Paul Vrbka, Sheriff of York County, was found to have broken the law, by wearing his official uniform in a campaign ad for a man who was part of the Jan 6 insurrection and ran for governor of Nebraska, Charles Herbster.
This violation was covered by many media outlets, including the Omaha World Herald, at the time.
