E21 – Jordan Corbin Talks about Getting Arrested in Omaha for Protesting

E21 – As a march was ending, Omaha Police decided to detain and arrest over 120 people on July 25, 2020, after trapping them on a bridge downtown. Jordan Corbin was one of those people. He tells his story of a night that started out as a protestor walking down the street to being pepper sprayed, arrested, shoved into an awful smelling cell with 40+ other men, going to solitary, and administrative setbacks that left him in jail for hours after his $500 bail was posted.

We also spoke with Natalie Weiss who has been working in both Lincoln and Omaha getting protestors out of jail by fundraising and posting bail.
